Inauguration of Water Supply System in Panchbibi Municipality (Distributed Piped) work in Panchbibi Municipality of Joypurhat. Municipality Administrator Abdul Quader Bipari inaugurated the supply line adjacent to Degree College Gate on Panchbibi-Kamadia Road at 3 pm on Sunday.
He was accompanied by Umme Roman Khan Johnny, Executive Engineer, Department of Public Health Engineering, Joypurhat; Dhiman Chandra Roy, Executive Engineer, Panchbibi Municipality; Maruf Ahsan, Assistant Engineer; Molla Ripon, Municipal Volunteer League Secretary Moshaid Al-Amin Saad and other prominent personalities of the area and municipal officials and political leaders were present. Executive Engineer Dhiman Chandra Roy said a 50-kilometer water supply pipeline would be laid in nine wards of the municipality at a cost of Tk 69.5 million. The work of laying the pipeline will be completed in 9 months. Upon completion, the citizens will get the benefit of pure water in 9 wards in phases. The project is being implemented by Panchbibi Municipality and Department of Public Health Engineering, Joypurhat under Municipal Water Supply and Sanitation Project.
