Momin Mehedi, chairman of Natundhara Bangladesh NDB, said that student politics of tailgating is violent. Stop student politics in the name of violence and politics in the country to prevent malpractice. He made the remarks at a discussion on “The Way Out of the Politics of Violence” held at the Topkhana Road office on April 29 at 10 am.
Presidium Member Prof. Shubhankar Debnath, Senior Vice Chairman Shanta Farzana, Acting Secretary General Nipun Mistry, Organizing Secretary Wazed Rana, among others, spoke on the occasion. Ishraq Alam, Sabih-ul-Alam, Kalima Jahan, Joint Convener of Dhaka University Branch National Education.
At the same time, Momin Mehedi further said that the only national education movement in Bangladesh is agitating for free education from first class to post-graduate level. Because, the new style of politics is not in favor of the student politics of tailgating in any way. In order to keep all student organizations, including Chhatra League and Dal, dedicated to realizing the demands of teachers and students, student politics of tailgating should be banned.
