A huge python has been rescued from a duck house in Sharankhola of Bagerhat. The dragon ate three swans and one leaf overnight. The dragon was later released into the Sundarbans.

Members of the Community Patrol Group (CPG) rescued the python from the duck nest of Abdur Razzak Hawladar’s house in Sonatala village near Sundarbans on Wednesday (June 1).

Abdur Razzak Hawlader, the owner of the house, said, “We are disturbed by the unusual call of ducks and chickens in the morning.” I understand that something has entered the lair of laughter. I saw a huge python open its mouth. Later, CPG members were informed and they came and rescued the python.

It seems that at some point in the night the dragon entered the duck’s nest. The python ate three swans and a leaf overnight, said the owner of the house.

CPG team leader said. Khalil Jamaddar said that after taking the duck out of the nest, four duck carcasses came out of the snake’s mouth.

East Sundarbans Sharankhola Station Officer (SO) said. Asaduzzaman said a python was recovered from the locality. The dragon is 12 feet long and weighs about 18 kg. The dragon was later released into the Sundarbans.
