A preparatory meeting was held at Jhalokati Deputy Commissioner’s Office on the occasion of inauguration of Padma Bridge. A preparatory meeting was held at 10 am on Wednesday in the conference room of Jhalakati Deputy Commissioner under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Johar regarding the inauguration ceremony of Padma Bridge on June 25.
It was decided at the meeting that the inaugural function will be held on June 25 at 10 am at the Sheikh Russell Mini Stadium in Jhalakathi.
A pleasant cultural program will be held in the evening.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Md. Kamal Hossain, District Awami League General Secretary Alhaj Khan Saifullah Panir, Sadar Circle Prashant Kumar De Sadar Upazila Chairman Arifur Rahman, Sadar Upazila Nibarhi Officer Sabekunnahar, Nalchiti Municipal Mayor A. Waheed Khan, were present in the preparatory meeting. Senior officials of the district administration, Jhalokati Municipal Councilor Babu Tarun Kumar Karmakar, Municipal Councilor Md. Kamal Sharif, Municipal Councilor Md. Habibur Rahman Habil, General Secretary of Jhalokati Press Club Khalilur Rahman and various government officials were present at the meeting.
