Celebrating the 34th death anniversary of Shaheed Jamil Akhtar Ratan in Rajshahi

Dr. killed in Rajshahi. Martyr Jamil Akhtar Ratan’s 34th death anniversary celebrated. On this occasion, Shahid Jamil Brigade along with various pro-liberation political and social organizations organized the rally at Rajshahi Medical College premises on Tuesday morning.
Speaking as the chief guest, Fazle Hossain Badsha, General Secretary of Workers Party of Bangladesh and MP of Rajshahi-2 constituency, said that there was no need for police in Rajshahi if the killer cadre Keramat Ali could not be arrested. Jamil’s killer Keramat Ali will be the emir of Rajshahi Jamaat and there will be police too. You say we failed, we couldn’t. We will catch Keramat Ali, tie him with rope and present him in front of you within 24 hours. We all know where they sleep at night, who they hang out with, who they sit and conspire with. He added that Bangladesh will never be Sri Lanka. However, there is a conspiracy to make Bangladesh Afghanistan. Those of us who believe in the war of liberation must stop that conspiracy. But what do we think about it? Don’t think The main businessmen in Rajshahi are now Jamaat-e-Islami people. I can name them, but I don’t want to say. The police know that, the intelligence department also knows that. But everyone is silent! Those Jamaat businessmen along with many of our leaders sit at the dining table and eat polao rice. Big projects are being done with them. I mean, those big projects are being made to bury the spirit of the liberation war. We cannot accept this politics, we will not accept it. This politics must be stopped.
Poet Ariful Haque Kumar, Advisor of Shahid Jamil Brigade and President of Jamil Foundation, also addressed the gathering. General Secretary of Sangram Parishad Jamat Khan, General Secretary of Liberation War Library Rajshahi Mahanagar Kamarullah Kama, General Secretary of Shahid Jamil Smriti Sangsad Abdul Matin and others. Debashish Pramanik Debu, General Secretary of Mahanagar Workers Party and Chief Coordinator of Shahid Jamil Brigade conducted the rally.
Earlier, leaders of various political and social organizations including Rajshahi District and Metropolitan Workers Party, Jubmaitri, Chhatramaitri, Nari Mukti Sangsad, Jamil Foundation, Jamil Smriti Sangsad, Rajshahi Raksha Sangram Parishad, Muktiyuddha Library paid their respects by laying wreaths at the grave of Shahid Jamil.
